Recap Bahamas

We left Ft Lauderdale 2 weeks ago to begin our adventure. Along the way we have stopped and anchored at many beautiful Cays from Bimini, down the west side of the Exumas and finally to Georgetown, Exuma. It has been a kind of wild ride. After arriving in the Bahamas, our first day was met with a down right unpleasant series of squalls that took us several hours longer than anticipated to get to our anchorage. Then we spent day after day of beating into the wind to get as far south as quickly as possible, to stay out of the path of the northern squalls.

We visited the Mermaid playing the piano

We finally are settling in for a bit in Georgetown. We have to make arrangements for Stella to move onto the next destination, which means we have to wait here until her rabies titer test comes.

We are enjoying some quiet time now. Hopefully our next stop will be Turks & Caicos.
