Winter is here

Mike - We settled down in Grenada after traveling 1750 miles from Ft Lauderdale mid June this year and arrived here at start of September. Awesome trip the entire way and can't wait to get back out and sail more. Along the way found a cool posse in Bahamas and hung out with an old flight surgeon friend in St Croix USVI. Cheri's been an awesome mate and rollin with the punches through some nasty weather along the way. We are much more confident and proficient on this boat and New L'Attitude has been holding up great.

It's been nice to chill here a while waiting out hurricane season, which is officially over now. And chilly! Down to mid 70s at night! Shrinkage! With these short/cloudy winter days our 2500w solar doesn't keep up but only need the generator every few days. We only have to to town (St George's) every few weeks for groceries and always anchor or pay on a mooring ball. Waters still nice, swim everyday and snorkel most. We just spent a couple weeks at town taking care of business and couldn't wait to get back out on these sweet anchorages. Lots of little quiet spots at the smaller islands around. Currently off Ronde island and this turtle keeps swimming around poking his head up. I have nothing to do with that. Swam over a nurse shark yesterday. Retirement doesn't suck. 😘
